Haimeng (Steven) Bai just graduated from McDermott lab with his Master of Science degree in Biology and pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the Biomedical Science Training Program at Case Western Reserve University. His projects in McDermott lab are mainly on gene knock-out using CRISPR/Cas9 and fluorescent microscopy imaging. He loves biomedical research and programming. Besides science, he loves tea, movies, sports, and power lifting. He plays drum set and guitar. He has a dream of having his own band and his first album recorded within 20 years.
