Patrick Antonellis is from Attleboro, Massachusetts. He attended Northeastern University where he received his B.S. degree in Biology in 2008.Following graduation he worked as a research assistant in Dr. Eleftheria Maratos-Flier’s laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Harvard University) in Boston where he helped investigate the role of FGF-21 in obesity.Patrick enrolled in the M.S. degree program at Case Western Reserve University and joined the McDermott lab in 2010.He is interested in identifying genes important for the development and function of the hair cell.
