Philsang Hwang completed his undergraduate degree in Bioscience from the Sejong University, Korea. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Biology at Case Western Reserve University and joined the McDermott lab in 2008. He is interested in researching the molecular basis of auditory hair cell development and maintenance. Specifically, Phil is focused on studying the formation and maintenance of stereocilia using transgenic zebrafish and advanced imaging.
